DESCRIPTION
Each 8mg/16mg Contains:
- Betahistine dihydrochloride … 8 mg
- Betahistine dihydrochloride … 16 mg
INDICATIONS
PERC (Betahistine dihydrochloride) is indicated for the treatment of:
- Vertigo.
- Tinnitus
DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION
VERTIGO:
- Adults (including the elderly) and adolescents—initially 15ml tice daily.
- 8mg 1-2 tablets thrice a day.
- 16mg 1/2 – 1 tablet thrice a day.
PORTAL SYSTEMIC ENCEPHALOPATHY:
- The dosage for adults is 24-8mg per day in a divided dose.
- Children: No dosage recommendations for this indication.
CONTRAINDICATION:
- Betahistine dihydrochloride is contraindicated in:
- Hypersensitivity from any of the ingredient.
- Patients with active peptic ulcer.
- Patients with phaeochromacytoma.
PRESENTATION
- Perc 8mg tablets are available in blister pack of 30’s.
