DESCRIPTION

Each DS Tablet contains:

• Artemether……40mg
• Lumefantrine…240mg

INDICATIONS

• Malaria due to plasmodium falciparum, resistant and mixed infections.

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION

40mg/240mg tablets:

• Adults & over 35kg: 2 BID for 3 days.
• 25kg to 34kg: 1.5 BID for 3 days.
• 15kg to 24kg: 1 BID for 3 days.

CONTRAINDICATIONS

• Contra-indicated in lactating mother, congestive heart failure, bradycardia, history of arrhythmias and congenital QT interval.
